I’ve been using fly masks for 20+ years, and have tried a LOT of different brands. Last year we had an unusually high number of gnats, and both of my horses ended up with aural plaques as a result. They have always objected to fly masks with ears, but this year I was determined to use them anyway. I really liked the look of these masks, and not only have they exceeded my expectations, but the horses aren’t bothered by the ears at all. The mesh is thin, but stiff, and holds its shape well. It is plenty roomy, even for my Arab with prominent eyes. The material the rest of the mask is made of is sturdy, yet lightweight. The edges are nice and soft on their skin. The velcro closures hold well, and there is elastic around the poll that helps keep the mask in place and keeps bugs out. Overall this mask is a winner! And the price is right. Thanks, Riding Warehouse!! I generally don’t submit reviews, but this is an outstanding product and I wanted to let others know.
